Daycare Caregiver (Infants & Toddlers)

Full-time, on-site · 813 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215 · Inaugural school year begins September 2026, In Sha Allah

Priority consideration for applications received before June 30, 2026.

Position Summary

The Daycare Caregiver (Infants & Toddlers) provides nurturing, responsive, and safe care for our youngest children — infants and young toddlers who are not yet potty-trained, up to age 3. The role is hands-on and physical: diapering and hygiene, bottle- and formula-feeding and assisted meals, safe-sleep and nap supervision, and constant, attentive supervision. Caregivers follow each child's individual feeding and sleep schedule, soothe and comfort, and build the secure, trusting relationships that very young children need to thrive.

Beyond care, the role nurtures early development through sensory play, tummy time, language-rich narration, and simple songs, and gently introduces Islamic manners — saying Bismillah, greetings, and gratitude — in a way that fits the earliest years. Al-Razi is an Islamic school — not a school that Muslims happen to attend — and faith is part of the environment from the very beginning. The caregiver works closely with the daycare team, keeps meticulous daily records, and communicates warmly and often with families.

Hours: Full-time, within daycare hours of operation (7:00 AM – 6:00 PM), Monday through Friday. Shift schedule set with the Head of School.
